Hendricks Pediatric Dentistry...smiles are like sunshine

Meet the Team

Our team is amazing! Each person is skilled, well trained, and helpful. Their warmth and kindness are obvious in every interaction, and they excel at connecting with patients — and parents — in a calm and reassuring manner.

While we focus on dental health, our greater concern is for the overall health and well-being of each child: We want them to have full and happy lives, healthy minds and bodies, and to enjoy a lifetime of beautiful, healthy smiles!

Amber

Front Office

I enjoy being part of a great team and working together to provide the best care for our patients and their families.

Amber welcomes and checks in patients, verifies insurance, checks patients out when they’re finished, and schedules their next appointment. She’s been with us since 2020, has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music, and is glad to work with people who feel like family.

Amber lives on a farm where they raise goats. She has a dog named Zelda who loves to get into trouble! In addition to working with us, Amber is a member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Band, Wings of the Wind Flute Choir, and Putnam County Photography Club.

Paige

Dental Assistant

I like educating and interacting with the children and families, and helping the kids have fun at their appointments!

Paige assists Dr. Dan with procedures, takes X-rays, provides cleanings, and orders supplies for our office. She has a Bachelor of Science in early childhood/primary education, coronal polishing and fluoride certifications, and a dental radiographer license, and has been with us since 2004. Paige loves laughing and having fun with her coworkers, whom she considers to be friends and part of her family.

Paige lives in Danville with her husband Mark. She has three kids — Megan, Zarik, and Dawson — and a grandchild named Jax. Watching her kids play sports, being secretary of the Danville Junior Football League, and enjoying time with family, friends, and her two dogs, Bentley and Cooper, keep Paige busy.

Robin

Dental Hygienist

I like interacting with the kids and educating parents!

Robin provides gentle cleanings, preventive, and maintenance care to patients. She also offers patient/parent education, focused on establishing a lifetime of good habits for a lifetime of healthy smiles. Starting in the field as a dental assistant in 1986, Robin became a dental hygienist in 2001 and joined us in 2020. She is happy to work with a great team that helps each other and is truly a family.

Robin spends much of her free time with her two children, Andrew and Shelby, and granddaughter, Remi. She also loves walking her dogs, Lexi and Bailey.

Sarah

Dental Hygienist, Front Office

I love getting to interact with my patients and help their dental visits be positive experiences. My favorite part of my job is seeing the kids conquer their fears and enjoy their dental appointments!

Sarah wears two hats in our office. As a hygienist, she provides gentle cleanings and patient/parent education with a focus on prevention and establishing good dental habits. In our front office, she takes care of insurance receivables, checks patients out at the end of their visit, and handles other tasks as needed. Sarah has been with the practice since 1999, when she was in high school and helped Dr. Wells with sterilization and cleaning, filing charts, and scheduling appointments. She went to college, got a degree in elementary education and taught for a few years, and worked here during summer breaks. In 2010 Sarah left teaching and came to work with us full time. She became a licensed dental hygienist in 2015 and in 2019 obtained her master’s degree in education. She has also worked part-time at the IU School of Dentistry as a dental hygiene clinical professor. Sarah loves our team’s positive attitudes and how much everyone cares about and supports others.

Sarah and her husband Michael have two children, Maya and Carter, and two dogs, Lucy and Kara. Sarah loves spending time with her family, including traveling to new places, Disney trips, camping, playing board games, and watching movies.

Tammy

Treatment Coordinator, Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant

I like providing a positive a positive dental experience to our patients and building positive relationships with them!

Tammy works both in our front office and our clinic. In addition to checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance, she also works with Dr. Dan on treatment planning and consultations. In the clinic, she assists with procedures, takes X-rays, and provides cleanings, places sealants, and applies fluoride. Tammy started in the field in 2003 and has been with us since 2004. She loves working with people who have a shared goal of providing the best care for our patients.

Tammy is married and her daughter, Morgan, is part of our team. Her family also includes four dogs. Tammy loves to camp and travel, loves football (she’s a cheese-head — Go Pack! Go!) and loves Michigan State basketball and football, too.

Morgan

Sterilization Tech, Front Office

I love interacting with the kids and making them smile and laugh during their visits!

Morgan sterilizes our tools and instruments, cleans the hygiene chairs and operatories between patients, works behind the scene to maintain equipment, assists with patient care and helps in the front office when needed. Morgan started with us in 2009, when still in high school, and stayed through the beginning of college. She went on to work as a certified medical assistant for several years and rejoined us in 2020. She loves being part of an office that feels like one big family, and enjoys our bright and happy environment.

Morgan and her husband Rob enjoy their three dogs: Klaus, Kenai, and Tucker. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking and hiking with her dogs, and playing video games in her spare time.
